The MOST IMPORTANT Subject EVER - Pendidikan Moral

The government introduced this awesome subject not because the Muslim students have to sit a compulsory paper (Pendidikan Islam). Not because the government is too stupid to think of a better subject. Not because they have to balance it. But because they know what we need, and we need Moral.

We all know that Pendidikan Moral is a compulsory subject to take for SPM, and we all know that it has 36  extremely good nilai that you have to memorised word for word.

It is so important that we do memorised word for word as, if you accidentally forgotten a word, the whole point of studying the subject is GONE. Like there's no use of studying the subject if you forgotten one word. 

So let me tell you why this subject is the MOST important compared to the rest of the the subjects. 

Say an old woman approached to you and asked for directions, you happily helped her. Why did you do it? It's because you learnt nilai - Kasih Sayang, Bertanggungjawab etc. It is because you menghayati each and every word of the definition, therefore you helped.

What if we did not learn Pendidikan Moral? Poor old woman couldn't have found her way because you would be too busy calculating the speed, distance and time she would take to arrive her destination. And you would not be human enough to help her. Because our parents never ever taught us manners. Never once in our life we have been taught to help elderly.

And because of Pendidikan Moral, one day when I grow up, I'll contribute to my country. I'll work my butt off and pay tax to help develop the nation while 80% of people in Malaysia don't pay tax. It's okay because I learnt 'Rational' and 'Cinta Akan Negara' in my Pendidikan Moral. Which means I have to think about the others and I will always put my country ahead of myself. Not because that the government will chase me down if I don't pay them, it is because of Pendidikan Moral.

Because of Pendidikan Moral, I will never ever take bribe in the future. The nilai 'Keadilan' and 'Bertanggungjawab' tells me not to. It is not because that I have read enough of articles about bribery in my life to know that bribery is bad for the nation. NO, it will be useless if I never learn the most important subject in the world, Pendidikan Moral. AND you wanna know why the politicians in our country are so corrupted? Because during their time, Pendidikan Moral was not a compulsory subject in SPM.

I've been on this planet Earth for 18 years. And learning Pendidikan Moral has been the best thing that ever happened to me. With this subject, I've learn not to cheat in life, to love the government, to say no to drugs and smoking and so much more.

So how much have this subject helped you in your life? MORE THAN ANY OTHER SUBJECTS YOU HAVE EVER LEARN. PERIOD.
